I do not hope that any plan to pursue the aim of installing human intelligence and well-being at the centre of cosmos will succeed. Interestingly, science addresses the very issues viz. human superiority and immortality, that religion has been promising. My crude sense of nature tells me that we are with nature inseparably and without being crucial to its experimentation. Nevertheless the urge to know and raise the bar on human control of the cosmos is irresistible and has to be gone through come what may.
